VPF organised the online meeting with clubs on the competitions in 2021
On the morning of Jun 02, VPF organised the online meeting with 14 clubs that participated in LS V.League 2021 to discuss the organisation of the competitions in 2021.
The delegation included Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Member of the VFF Executive Committee, Chairman of Broad of VPF; Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary; Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – CEO of VPF and leaders of 14 clubs.
The season 2021 was held during the fast-changing of COVID-19 pandemic. Before postponing the tournament on May 06, the LS V.League 2021 ran 84 matches in 12 rounds with 194 goals; 344 yellow cards, 15 red cards, and a total of 466.000 spectators in the stadium.
To continue to organise the professional tournaments of 2021 while the pandemic under the control and allowed by Government, the online meeting of VPF and clubs was held to discuss the format of the next period.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr, Nguyen Minh Ngoc – CEO of VPF said that the pandemic created many difficulties to make a suitable plan for all areas. If the tournaments cannot organise, it will be a big problem in the domestic competition system and clubs, as well as sponsors.
In the meeting, 14 clubs agreed with the plan of VPF. Clubs suggested VPF build guidance to ensure the safety and prevention of COVID-19 pandemic, learn experiences of AFC and UEFA in World Cup 2022 Qualifier and Euro 2020.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary asked VPF to report the detail to VFF after having the agreements of clubs to organise the tournament when the pandemic was controlled. Accompany with VPF, VFF also has the guidance to local to support the clubs.
In the end, Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Member of the VFF Executive Committee, Chairman of Broad of VPF thanked the clubs for the unity and support for the success of the tournaments.
