The National Women’s Football League – Thai Son Bac Cup 2026 will officially kick off on 20 June, marking the first time the competition will be held under a league format with matches played at the registered home venues of participating clubs. This represents an important step forward in improving the quality of the competition and advancing the professionalisation of women’s football in Vietnam.

VFF Leaders attend FIFA Executive Football Summit and FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony

From 10 to 17 June 2026, a delegation of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), comprising Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – FIFA Competitions Committee Member and VFF President, and Mr. Nguyen Van Phu – FIFA Medical Committee Member and VFF General Secretary, will attend the FIFA Executive Football Summit 2026 and the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
