Goalkeeper Nguyen Van Toan is one of the list players to watch in the U23 Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier
Recently, the-AFC.com has identified some of the key players to look out for in the U23 Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier. Especially, in the list of 8 players, Nguyen Van Toan (U23 Vietnam) is the only goalkeeper who is appreciated by AFC.

“So highly rated in his homeland is goalkeeper Nguyen Van Toan that he was handed the number one jersey for Vietnam’s recent AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar match against Oman.
With regular first choice Dang Van Lam out injured, the 21-year-old Hai Phong ‘keeper will look to hold down the position and, with senior team head coach Park Hang-seo also helming the U-23 side, Van Toan has another chance to impress in the games ahead” – AFC stated.
U23 Vietnam will kick off the 2022 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifying campaign on Oct 27 with the match against U23 China Taipei, then have the match with U23 Myanmar on Nov 02.
Other players on the list are Khalid Al Ghannam (Saudi Arabia), Ali Saleh (UAE), Choi Jun (Korea Republic), Amirali Sadeghi ((Iran)), Manuchehr Safarov (Tajikistan), Yuta Goke (Japan), Khusain Norchaev (Uzbekistan).
