In the letter to Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan, General Secretary of Vietnam Football Federation, Deputy General Secretary Dato” Paul Mony Samuel said that the AFC delegation is satisfied with Vietnam”s preparations to host Asian Cup 2007
During the week-long visit, all four governments announced their commitment towards ensuring successful hosting of Asia”s flagship national team competition. In the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi, My Dinh Stadium, the proposed main venue, and Thien Truong Stadium (proposed second venue) were visited by the AFC delegates.
 
In the letter to  Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan, General Secretary of Vietnam Football Federation,  Deputy General Secretary  Dato” Paul Mony Samuel said that the AFC delegation is satisfied with Vietnam”s preparations to host Asian Cup 2007 after wrapping up their two-day visit.
 
Below, is the principal contents of this letter 
SWe are delighted with the commitment of all parties involved in the progress achieved so far. We extend our congratulations to the VFF, the Sports Committee, the Ministry of Sport, the government and any other entity that is providing the support required to ensure that the AFC Asian Cup 2007 in Vietnam is an overwhelming success. We are especially pleased with the completion of the work requested by the AFC after its initial inspection of the facilities to be used for the competition.
 
We also thanh you for all the hospitality extended to the memmbers of the delegation during their stay in Hanoi.
 
We look forward to your continued commitment in the next phase of preparations for the competition, which will be mainly operational in nature and which will require a high degree of cooperation and coordination between the AFC, VFF and all local authorities. With the spirit and will demonstrated so far we look forward to the next phase with great anticipation⬝.
