Ha Tay are now in the driving seat to win the women”s national championship after beating Ha Nam 2-0. Elsewhere, their neck-to-neck rivals Hanoi and Cua Ong Coal drew 1-1.

Ha Tay are now in the driving seat to win the women”s national championship after beating Ha Nam 2-0. Elsewhere, their neck-to-neck rivals Hanoi and Cua Ong Coal drew 1-1. 

Determined to gain a third straight victory, Dao Thi Mien was lined up as the team”s playmaker. However, Ha Tay failed to break the deadlock until the 75th minute. In a counter attack in the 75th minute, Dao Thi Mien set up Nguyen Thi Thanh to open in the scoring after Ha Nam failed in an attack. Five minutes later, Le Thi Oanh extended the lead for Ha Tay. 
 
After the victory, Ha Tay have a good opportunity to win the championship, as in the final match, they will play the weakest opponents, Thai Nguyen, who have not gained any points so far. 
 
Meanwhile, Hanoi and Cua Ong continue to stand neck-to-neck after a 1-1 draw. In the 21st minute, Bui Tuyet Mai put Hanoi in front with a header. Cua Ong Coal levelled the score in the 80th minute. The draw keeps both teams two points behind Ha Tay. 
In another match, captain Kim Chi, who scored four goals, and Hong Nga, two goals, helped Ho Chi Minh City trounce Thai Nguyen 6-0.
