Brazilian striker De Lima ended Binh Duong”s championship season on a high note by scoring the only goal in their final match of the 2007 V-League season against Khanh Hoa yesterday.

Binh Duong, who sealed the national football championship title four weeks ago, won 1-0 at home in Go Dau Stadium.
Drawing Southern Steel Sai Gon Port 2-2 at an away game, last year”s champions Dong Tam Long An were second on the V-League table, while two-time champs Hoang Anh Gia Lai crushed Hoa Phat Ha Noi 6-1 to finish third.
At the opposite end of the table Ha Noi ACB edged out Dong Thap 1-0 with a first half goal by Uganda”s Charles Livingstone Mbabazi, which puts Hoa Phat Ha Noi in a little trouble.
The win secured Ha Noi ACB”s spot in next year”s V-League championships. Hoa Phat Ha Noi now must play An Giang, who finished third in the First Division, in a two-leg match to determine if they are relegated.
It was a bitter season for Hoa Phat Ha Noi considering they were given a VND20bil cash injection from their sponsor early this year in the hopes of claiming the league title.
In other matches yesterday, hosts Da Nang drew DPM Nam Dinh 1-1 at Chi Lang Stadium. “Song Lam Nghe An crushed Pisico Binh Dinh 3-1 at home. Huda Hue were held to a goalless draw by Halida Thanh Hoa.
Hue and Dong Thap have been relegated to the First Division for next season.
The Cong Viettel, who were relegated in 2004, will move up to the V-League after taking the First Division title.
Van Hoa Hai Phong, who came second in the First Division, will also join the V-League next season.
