On the afternoon 1st Jan, U23 Vietnam went to Thailand to join the U23 AFC Championship 2020. Thanks to the previous preparation, the trip of the head coach Park Hang-seo and the players was good.

Hanoi: As the AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020 rapidly approaches, one of the stars of the 2018 edition has recalled one of the most iconic moments in the tournament’s history.

The young midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc is one of the most expectation players of U23 Vietnam at the U23 AFC Championship 2020. Hoang Duc hopes that he and his teammates can join the final match of this tournament.

After 3 days holiday, on the afternoon 25th Dec, the players of U23 Vietnam had the first training session at Thong Nhat Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City) to prepare for the upcoming U23 AFC Championship 2020.

On the afternoon of 22nd Dec, U23 Vietnam came back to Ho Chi Minh City after 10 days of training in Korea.

In the afternoon 19th Dec, Mr. Nguyen Vu Tu – Vietnamese Ambassador at Korea and the Embassy’s officers came to Tongyeong to visit and encourage U23 Vietnam.

In the afternoon 18th Dec, U23 Vietnam had the first match in the training program in Tongyeong, Korea. The opponent was Yeongnam University’s Football team which had strong physical players. This team created an effective game for the team of head coach Park Hang-seo.

The training session of U23 Vietnam on 17th Dec was unfavorable because of the rain and low temperature. To ensure the health for the players, head coach Park Hang-seo decided that the team should practice inside the Tongyeong arena instead of outside as the previous plan.

After coming to Tongyeong (Korea), on the afternoon 14th Dec, U23 Vietnam started the first training session in the preparing program for the U23 AFC Championship 2020.

Hanoi: Vietnam head coach Park Hang-seo has called up 28 players for a training camp in Korea Republic ahead of the AFC U23 Championship Thailand 2020.
