AFC confirms the schedule of Group B AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier
AFC announced the official timeline of the matches in Group B AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier.
This decision is based on the agreement with the host of Group B Tajikistan. Therefore, 4 teams included Vietnam, Afganistan, Maldives, and Tajikistan will play in 3 match-days of 23rd, 26th, and 29th Sep. The venue is Dushanbe Stadium (Dushanbe, Tajikistan). The Vietnam women’s team will have the first match with Afghanistan on Sep 23. The next two matches will take place on Sep 26 and Sep 29 with Maldives and Tajikistan.
Remark the opponents, head coach Mai Duc Chung said that even they rank higher than Vietnam however our coaching assistants always remain the players to keep trying hard. “Vietnam team respects all opponents, and will find the way to play well in each match and join in the final round”. Head coach Mai Duc Chung shared.
About the confirmation of AFC on the schedule of Group B, head coach Mai Duc Chung said that the coaching assistants will work closely with functional departments and VFF to plan the domestic as well as an international training camp for the team.
