Mr. Kim Sang Sik officially took on the position of Head Coach of the National “A” Team and the U23 National Team
Hanoi – On 6 May 2024, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) organized the contract signing ceremony and announcement of the new Head coach of the National ‘A’ Team and National U23 Team. Mr. Kim Snag Sik (Korean nationality) will be the head coach of the Vietnam National ‘A’ Team and Vietnam National U23 Team with a 2-year contract.

On the morning of March 23 at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – President of the Vietnam Football Federation had a meeting and worked with Mr. Bernard Tan – President of the Football Association of Singapore. AFC Medical Centre of Excellence network expanded by AFC Medical Committee
The Japan Football Association Clinic and the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center – Vinmec Times City International Hospital in Vietnam were inducted into the AFC Medical Centre of Excellence network, expanding the total number of distinguished centres to 12 across the Continent.

On March 15, in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), the Women’s Football Committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) had its first meeting of 2024. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation attended as committee member.

After 6 consecutive years of being with Vietnamese football as a Sponsor of Vietnam National Teams and a number of tournaments for youth football, on a new companion stage for the period 2024 – 2027, Acecook Joint Stock Company Vietnam has decided to upgrade the sponsorship package of Vietnamese national teams to the highest level of the Top Star Partner package. The signing ceremony and announcement of this remarkable event was solemnly held on the morning of March 14 at the headquarters of VFF.

As part of a series of activities before the cooperation signing ceremony between the Vietnam Football Federation and Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, on the morning of March 14, at FIFA Stadium, Vietnam Youth Football Training Center took place an activity. Opening of the AFF assessor referee course 2024
On the morning of March 4, the 2024 AFF assessor referee course, directly organized by AFF, officially opened. The course will take place for 6 days, from March 4 to March 9 in Hanoi.

Responding to the Women’s Football Festival launched by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), VFF coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam province to organize a number of activities to celebrate this event at Ha Nam Stadium on March 8.
2 Vietnamese Referees are appointed to work at the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2024
Recently, the AFC sent a letter appointing two female referees from Vietnam, including referee Le Thi Ly (Ho Chi Minh City) and assistant referee Ha Thi Phuong (Hai Phong) to take the task at the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2024.
