Defender Huynh Tan Sinh: “Thuong Chau was the story of the past”
On the afternoon 6th Jan, U23 Vietnam had the first training session at Buriram. Before the session, defender Huynh Tan Sinh shared with the press about the preparation and the ambition of the team at U23 AFC Championship 2020.

Defender Huynh Tan Sinh answered the press before the training session
Tan Sinh stated that the team has not reminded about the runner-up title of the U23 AFC Championship 2018. “Thuong Chau was the story of the past and now we only focus on the coming matches at U23 AFC Championship 2020”. Huynh Tan Sinh said.
It cannot be denied that U23 Vietnam plays this time not only for the U23 AFC Championship but also forward to the Olympic Tokyo 2020. However, Tan Sinh affirmed that: “Our goal is having the best result at the matches”.
In group D, Vietnam will meet UAE on 10th Jan, Jordan on 13th Jan, and DPR Korea on 16th Jan.
On the morning of 7th Jan, the team joins the technical meeting with AFC and has another training session on the same day afternoon.
