Draw ceremony of U-19 National Championship 2020 Final
On the morning of 18th June, the draw ceremony of U-19 National Championship 2020 Final was held at PVF.
Delegate including Mr. Nguyễn Công Khế – Chairman of Thanhnien Media Corporation, Head of Organization Committee; Mr. Đỗ Văn Kiểm – Deputy Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism Department of Hưng Yên Province, Deputy Head of Organization Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Minh Ngọc – VFF Deputy General Secretary, Deputy Head of Organization Committee; Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Mỹ Dung – PVF Deputy General Director, with representative of 8 clubs/teams and referees, assessors.
On behalf of the organizer, Mr. Nguyễn Công Khế – Chairman of Thanhnien Media Corporation, Head of Organization Committee thanked the partners who always support to provide a favorable condition for the tournament. “Today, youth football training faces many difficult, however, the youth football training is an important part of the development”.
Recently years, U19 National Championship organize by VFF always received high attention from local authorities. Mr. Đỗ Văn Kiếm – Deputy Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism Department of Hưng Yên Province welcome the teams and affirmed that all local authorities will support for this tournament.
On behalf of VFF, Mr. Nguyễn Minh Ngọc – Deputy General Secretary emphasized that VFF always invests in youth football, and try to open more opportunities for young players to learn the experience. “With the cooperation between VFF and Thanhnien Media Corporation, we always try to ensure the fairness of all tournaments”.
At the press conference, organizer drew the fixture of U-19 National Championship 2020, therefore 8 teams divided into 2 groups:
Group A: U19 HAGL 1, U19 PVF, U19 TP.HCM và U19 An Giang
Group B: U19 HAGL 2, U19 CAND, U19 SLNA và U19 Bình Dương
The teams will play one round to find out two best teams join into the semi-final. In the semis and final, the teams play in knockout matches. The champion will be awarded 80 million while the runner-up receives 50 million, and the two third-place teams receive 30 million/per team.
