FIFA President Gianni Infantino and VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan discuss the development of Vietnamese Football
On June 14 (Vietnam time), Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) President Tran Quoc Tuan, accompanied by VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu, attended the FIFA Executive Football Summit 2026 in Miami, held on the sidelines of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. During the event, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan held discussions on the development of football in Vietnam.

During the Summit, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan held discussions on several issues related to the development of football in Vietnam.
President Infantino acknowledged the progress Vietnamese football has made on the international stage in recent years. For his part, President Tran Quoc Tuan expressed his hope that FIFA would continue to support Vietnamese football through long-term development programmes, thereby further strengthening the cooperative relationship between the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and FIFA.
The FIFA Executive Football Summit 2026 is being held over two days, from June 14 to 15.
