Forward to SEA Games 32, the potential U21 players are called to U23 Vietnam
Head coach Dinh The Nam made a plan for the next gathering of U23 Vietnam preparing for the AFF U23 Championship 2022. According to that, to build up the foundation for SEA Games 32 in 2023, the potential under-21-years old are called.
04/01/2022 14:58:12The AFF U23 Championship 2022 will take place in Cambodia from 14 Feb to 26 Feb 2022. As the drawing result, U23 Vietnam stands in Group C with Thailand and Singapore. Group A includes host Cambodia, Timor Leste, Philippines, and Brunei. Group B includes Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Laos.
This tournament is one of the opportunities to build up the resource for U23 Vietnam forward to SEA Games 32 in 2023, VFF called the excellent U21 players in the upcoming gathering, in which almost are the players who have good performance in the U21 National Championship 2021. Besides that, base on the competition at AFF U23 Championship 2022, the coaching assistants will evaluate and introduce new players to the team joining in SEA Games 31 hosted by Vietnam in May 2022.
As per the plan, U23 Vietnam will gather at Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre from 5 Jan 2022.
