Coming back from a goal down to win 2-1 over Ho Chi Minh City Club at Thong Nhat Stadium, Hanoi FC win the Thaco National Football Super Cup 2019. This is the 3rd title of Hanoi FC after 2010 and 2018.

The champion of V.League and National Cup – Hanoi FC had a “nightmare” beginning when Do Duy Manh had an injury at the 4th minute. 15 minutes later, Ho Chi Minh City had the first goal by Cong Phuong.
Cong Phuong continued to have a second chance at the 28th minute. However, goalkeeper Van Cong had tried hard to catch the ball.
After 30 minutes of difficult, Hanoi FC came back to the tempo of the game. At 30th minute, Captain Van Quyet had a passing goal over the defender of Ho Chi Minh City to create the chance for Hung Dung. Even the destination of Hung Dung wasn’t correct, due to the mistake of goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung and Cong Thanh, Hanoi FC had the first goal.
Hanoi FC became more confident. 44th minute, Hung Dung had the kick to the net of Bui Tien Dung, and Omar received the ball before correctly made a goal into the net.
In the second half, Ho Chi Minh City focused on attraction. However, Hanoi FC handled the game. Therefore, after 90 minutes, Hanoi FC won the Thaco National Football Super Cup 2019
After B.Binh Duong, Hanoi FC becomes the second club of Vietnam who gets 3 national titles in 1 year (Super Cup, National Cup, and V.League).
