Head coach Mai Duc Chung: “Vietnam Women team respects every opponent and focuses on each match…”
Speaking in the press conference before the first match of Women’s Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier Group B, head coach Mai Duc Chung said that he and players always respect every opponent and play with the highest determine.
“On behalf of the Vietnam team, I would like to thank the host Tajikistan for the warmly welcome. We very regret while Afghanistan withdraw. We always hope that the team will have more opportunities to compete and gain experience. Group B now only has 3 teams and we know that all teams have improved. Vietnam team respects both Maldives and Tajikistan”. Head coach Mai Duc Chung said that.
“The COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam became seriously recent, therefore we had many difficulties in preparation. We only had 1 month gathering. Even we are small girl but we have a strong spirit. We played with the Maldives 10 years ago in Vietnam. About the match tomorrow, we will try to play well to meet the expectations of Vietnam’s fans”. Mr. Mai Duc Chung shared.
Captain Huynh Nhu shared that: “In the upcoming match, the opponents are the mystery for us. We will try to play well in every match and get the win”.
