Head coach Park Hang-seo and colleagues back to work and prepare for the key mission of 2021
On the morning of Mar 03, head coach Park Hang-seo and coaching assistants had the meeting to review, evaluate, and discuss the plan of national team as well as U22 Vietnam in 2021.

This was the first working-day of head coach Park Hang-seo after a long holiday and quarantine. The meeting had the attending of VFF function department, assistants, and team’s doctors.
Due to the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, almost all international matches of 2020 had to suspend or cancel. This was difficult for the national team. However, VFF with the cooperation of the function department and coaching assistants had adjusted the plan to complete the mission.
About World Cup 2022 Qualifier, AFC officially announced the schedule in June 2021. Therefore, due to the requirement of prevention of Covid-19 pandemic, AFC will choose the most suitable country to host the matches of group G. According to that, Vietnam will play with Indonesia on June 7 (round 9), then play with Malaysia on June 11 (round 8), and finally, play with UAE on June 15 (round 10).
Talk about this adjustment, head coach Park Hang-seo argued that “I willing to try to prepare all things. Firstly, the information about each country included Indonesia, Malaysia, UAE. Another thing such as the weather condition in UAE. I already request VFF to search for a similar place to UAE and after that, we will prepare for the real condition. I heard that the schedule changes about matches of order: Indonesia, Malaysia, and UAE. That is also some difficult, we just prepare all above thing”.
Head coach Park Hang-seo also shared that he will continue to have a meeting with assistants to discuss the preparation of the team, watching V.League’s matches to evaluate players’ condition and finding potential players for the national team.
The reunion of V.League 2021 since Mar 13 will be a good signature for the national team, help players maintain the best condition when gathering on the team.
