Head coach Philippe Troussier satisfied with the spirit of U18 Vietnam after the training match with Phu Dong FC
On the afternoon of Mar 19, U18 Vietnam had the training match with Phu Dong FC at Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre. This was the only training match of the team in this 1st period.

After 4 days of training, head coach Philippe Trousier hopes that the training match with Phu Dong FC helps the players to show the ability.
Head coach Philippe Trousier divided the team into 2 groups played in 2 half respectively. Playing against a team that has a lot of experience, the group in the 1st half of U18 Vietnam hadn’t had many chances. However, the defense played well.
After a half without a goal, U18 Vietnam played better and had more chance to control the ball in the second half. However, they still lack the skill to make a goal. 0-0 was the latest score of the game.
In a training match, the most important is testing the players. On this side, head coach Philippe Trousier was satisfied with the result of the game.
“Through this match, I want to see how players working together, did they contact together in the game. Today, they showed a unity team and have a good organization”.
