AFC Cup, AFC Champions League: Players suspensions for Match Day 5

The following players have been suspended for Match Day 5 of the AFC Cup (Tuesday, May 2) and AFC Champions League (Wednesday, May 3).

The following players have been suspended for Match Day 5 of the AFC Cup (Tuesday, May 2) and AFC Champions League (Wednesday, May 3).

The following players have been suspended for Match Day 5 of the AFC Cup (Tuesday, May 2) and AFC Champions League (Wednesday, May 3).

AFC Champions League

GROUP A:

1. Abdul Rahman Al Zanamil of Al Qadsiya (Kuwait) will remain suspended for the match against Foolad (Iran) on May 3. He received two cautions (vs Foolad on March 8, vs Al Ittihad on April 26).

2. Omar Hemidi and Mahmoud Al Amena of Al Ittihad (Syria) will be ineligible for the match against Pakhtakor on May 3. They picked up two cautions (vs Al Qadsiya on April 12, vs Al Qadsiya on April 26).

3. Islom Innomov of Pakhtakor (Uzbekistan) will remain suspended for the match against Al Ittihad (Syria) on May 3. He received two cautions (vs Foolad on April 12, vs Foolad on April 26).

4. Renat Bayramov of Pakhtakor will be ineligible for the match against Al Ittihad (Syria) on May 3. He received two cautions (vs Al Qadsiya on March 22, vs Foolad on April 26).

GROUP B:

1. Anatolie Ostap of Mashal (Uzbekistan) will be ineligible to play in the match against Al Mina”a (Iraq) on May 3. He received two cautions in two separate matches (vs Al Hilal on April 12, vs Al Hilal on April 26).

2. Nawaf Zindie of Al Mina”a (Iraq) will remain suspended for the match against Mashal (Uzbekistan). He picked up two cautions in two matches (vs Al Hilal on March 22, vs Al Ain on April 26).

3. Komoliddin Kenjayev and Jahongir Jiyamuradov of Mashal (Uzbekistan) have been suspended for two matches (vs Al Mina”a on May 3 and vs Al Ain on May 17) and fined $3000 for violent conduct in the match against Al Hilal on April 26 which led to their sending-off.

GROUP C:

1. Abdul Salam Al Junaibi of Al Wahda (UAE) will remain suspended for the match against Al Karameh (Syria) on May 3. He received two cautions in two separate matches (vs Al Gharafa on March 22, vs Saba Battery on April 26).

2. Morteza Asadi of Saba Battery (Iran) will serve a one-match suspension against Al Gharafa (Qatar) on May 3. He received two cautions in two separate matches (vs Al Gharafa on March 8, vs Al Wahda on April 26).

3. Masoud Zarei of Saba Battery (Iran) will remain suspended for the match against Al Gharafa (Qatar) on May 3. He received two cautions in two separate matches (vs Al Wahda on April 12, vs Al Wahda on April 26).

4. Mugib Gamer of Al Gharafa will remain suspended for the match against Saba Battery on May 3. He picked up two cautions in two separate matches (vs Saba Battery on March 8, vs Al Karameh on April 26).

5. Mohamed Al Hamwi and Anas Al Khouja of Al Karameh (Syria) will remain suspended for the match against Al Wahda (UAE). They received two cautions in two matches (vs Al Wahda on March 8, vs Al Gharafa on April 26).

GROUP D:

1. Talal Alfrsi of Al Arabi (Kuwait) will serve a one-match suspension against Air Force Club (Iraq) on May 3. He received two cautions in two separate matches (vs Air Force Club on March 8, vs Al Shabab on April 26).

GROUP E:

1. Choi Chul-soon of Jeonbuk Motors (Korea Republic) will remain suspended for the match against Gamba Osaka (Japan) on May 3. He received two cautions in two separate matches (vs Gamba Osaka on March 8, vs Da Nang City on April 26).

AFC CUP

GROUP D:

1. Maksatmuhamed Kuliev of MTTU has been suspended for two matches vs Al Nejmeh of Lebanon on May 2, and his club”s subsequent match in an AFC competition and fined $3000 after being sent off for violent conduct during the match against Al Faisaly of Jordan on April 25.

GROUP E:

1. Mohd Ivan Mohd Yusoff of Perlis (Malaysia) will serve a one-match suspension in the match against Home United (Singapore) on May 2. He received two cautions (vs New Radiant on March 21, vs Sun Hei on April 25).

2. Yusiskandar Yusop of Home United will be ineligible for the match against Perlis (Malaysia) on May 2. He received two cautions (vs New Radiant on April 11, vs New Radiant on April 25).

GROUP F:

1. Husny Abdul Rahman of Hurriyah (Maldives) will be ineligible for the match against Happy Valley (Hong Kong) on May 2. He received two cautions (vs Tampines Rovers on April 11, vs Tampines Rovers on April 25).

2. Sanbagamaran Kalasigaram of Selangor will serve a one-match suspension in the match against Tampines Rovers on May 2. He received two cautions (vs Happy Valley on April 11, vs Happy Valley on April 25).
