Leaders of the Vietnam Sports Adminstration, VFF visited and encouraged the U23 Vietnam
On the afternoon of April 6, leaders of the Vietnam Sports Adminstration and VFF visited and encouraged the spirit of the U23 Vietnam team before the team travel to Qatar for training and attend the 2024 U23 Asian Cup.
The meeting and encouragement for the team were attended by Mr. Dang Ha Viet – Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration, Mr. Tran Anh Tu – VFF’s Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi – Standing member of the Vietnam Football Federation Executive Committee, Head of the U23 team’s delegation at the 2024 U23 Asian Cup, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF’s General Secretary, and leaders of functional departments of VFF.
In a speech of encouragement to the whole team, the Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration Dang Ha Viet hoped that coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team would create a good mark in the new beginning of the U23 Vietnam in the continental arena. With the fulcrum from the historic success of the U23 Vietnam at the tournament in Changzhou in 2018, Director Dang Ha Viet believes that the young players of the current U23 Vietnam will promote their potential to achieve the best results in each match, and in the immediate future strive to pass the group stage to create favorable momentum towards the next goal.
Director Dang Ha Viet, together with VFF’s Vice President Tran Anh Tu, Head of Delegation Nguyen Quoc Hoi, and General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi, reminded the entire team to pay maximum attention to the important training phase before the tournament. At the same time, he affirmed that the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Sports Administration, and VFF always closely follow the team’s activities to provide timely direction and help the team have the most favorable conditions in training and competition.
On behalf of the coaching staff and the U23 Vietnam, head coach Hoang Anh Tuan thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Sports Administration, and VFF for their attention and encouragement to the team. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed that the whole team will be united, unanimous, and determined to compete to achieve the best results at the 2024 U23 Asian Cup, thereby bringing joy to many home fans, just like the spirit. The spirit of the slogan “Vietnam – Solidarity – Success!” was shouted by the entire team before closing the meeting with the leaders of the Vietnam Sports Administration and VFF.
Returning to practice this afternoon, coach Hoang Anh Tuan had a full force of 28 players, with the duo of Thai Son and Nguyen Hoang joining the team after finishing the late match of round 15 V League. The training lesson plan also focuses on the content used to practice tactical skills.
