LPBank Vietnam has become the main sponsor of the LPBank V.League 1
On August 5, 2024, LPBank Vietnam and FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) signed a Sponsorship Agreement for the LPBank V.League 1-2024/25.

With the desire to continue contributing to the advancement of Vietnamese football and bringing it closer to international standards, LPBank Vietnam and FPT Telecom signed the Sponsorship Agreement for the LPBank National Football Championship – LPBank V.League 1 at a formal event held at the FPT Group headquarters – FPT Tower. In the presence of representatives from the Department of Physical Education and Sports, the Vietnam Football Federation, VPF Company, FPT Telecom, and FPT Play, LPBank Vietnam officially became the main sponsor of the LPBank V.League 1-2024/25.
The signing ceremony marks the beginning of a partnership between LPBank, VPF Company, and FPT Telecom, represented by the FPT Play brand, with a shared goal of advancing Vietnamese football. According to the collaboration agreement, the LPBank V.League 1-2024/25 season will benefit from crucial financial support, backed by the reputation and status of LPBank. LPBank’s involvement is expected to lead to a successful tournament, paving the way for significant and professional growth in Vietnamese football, and making a meaningful contribution to the overall achievements of Vietnamese football in the future.
Welcoming the new main sponsor, Mr. Trần Anh Tú, Chairman of the VPF Board of Directors, stated: “VPF and FPT Telecom, represented by the FPT Play brand, are honored to partner with LPBank Vietnam in the upcoming phase of the top club competition in Vietnam. We believe that LPBank’s involvement will be the key to unlocking further successes for domestic football in the coming period. On our part, VPF will certainly continue to excel in managing, organizing, and running the league, ensuring its ongoing development.”
Commenting on the signing ceremony, Mr. Hoàng Văn Phúc, Deputy General Director of LPBank Vietnam, stated: “We view continuous support for the development of sports as a crucial pillar in our principle of ‘Integrating Social Responsibility into Business,’ which LPBank consistently pursues. Becoming the main sponsor of the LPBank National Football League further demonstrates LPBank’s positive contribution to the advancement of sports in our country. We believe that in the upcoming season, Vietnamese football in general, and the LPBank V.League 1-2024/25 in particular, will experience many positive changes with LPBank’s close support.”

The LPBank V.League 1-2024/25 season, supported by LPBank, is scheduled to kick off on September 14, 2024, and conclude in June 2025. This year, the total prize money for the top three teams in the LPBank V.League 1-2024/25 will be as follows:
- The Champion Club will receive a Cup, a Gold Medal, and a prize of 5 billion VND.
- The Second-Place Club will receive a Silver Medal and a prize of 3 billion VND.
- The Third-Place Club will receive a Bronze Medal and a prize of 1.5 billion VND.
A notable feature of the upcoming LPBank V.League 1 seasons is the investment in technical quality. After officially receiving two VAR (Video Assistant Referee) vehicles sponsored by FIFA from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), VPF Company will plan to allocate four VAR vehicles across the Northern, Central, and Southern regions. In collaboration with FPT Play, there will be efforts to apply VAR technology to as many matches as possible each round of the LPBank V.League 1-2024/25.
The LPBank V.League 1-2024/25 season also marks the third consecutive year that FPT Play, a member of FPT Telecom, has partnered to produce and broadcast national professional football leagues. As the current holder of media rights and, notably, commercial exploitation rights for prestigious tournaments within the National Professional Football League system for five consecutive seasons starting in 2023, FPT Play will continue to actively collaborate with VPF to implement numerous new improvements. These efforts are aimed at enhancing the quality of the leagues and providing optimal benefits for viewers and partners.

With the goal of continuously enhancing the quality of the image for national professional football leagues, all matches in the LPBank V.League 1-2024/25, supported by LPBank, will be broadcast live and in full by FPT Play across its platforms. These include terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, internet, mobile, public displays, and social media. In the new season, FPT Play will continue to collaborate with Vietnam Television (VTV) and Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) to produce and broadcast the matches.
