Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister of New Zealand met with representatives of the Vietnamese women’s team

The meeting between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and New Zealand Prime Minister – Jacinda Ardern and the Vietnam women’s team had the presence of Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Nguyen Xuan Vu, VFF General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi. , head coach of Vietnam women’s team Mai Duc Chung, members of the coaching assistants and players: Chuong Thi Kieu, Pham Thi Hai Yen, Thai Thi Thao, Hoang Thi Loan and Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented jerseys signed by members of the Vietnamese women’s team, who had just won tickets to attend the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, to the Prime Minister of New Zealand. In response, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern also presented New Zealand’s jersey to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern encouraged coach Mai Duc Chung and representatives of members of the Vietnamese women’s team. In a short discussion with fitness coach Cedric Roger of the Vietnamese women’s team, Mrs. Ardern briefly introduced the weather conditions, facilities, training ground, and competition venues of the Vietnamese women’s team in New Zealand. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern emphasized that she will create all the best conditions to help the Vietnamese women’s team soon adapt and get the best preparation during the training period ahead of the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

This is an honor for the whole country of Vietnam, not just anyone. Today, we also have contact with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. When I saw the two Prime Ministers exchange the jerseys of the two teams, I was very happy. The Vietnamese women’s team not only affirms its position in the region but also resonates with the world when participating in the World Cup. That’s why New Zealand also knows more about Vietnamese football.
