Qualifiers Group F: Vietnam 11-0 Singapore; Indonesia 0-6 India

Viet Tri City: Vietnam cruised 11-0 past Singapore while India defeated Indonesia 6-0 as both sides claimed their second victories in Round 1 of the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ 2024 Uzbekistan Qualifiers Group F on Thursday.

The two will battle for the top spot when they meet on Saturday with only the group winners to advance to the next round of the Qualifiers.

Vietnam 11-0 Singapore
Ngoc Minh Chuyen starred with four goals, while Ta Thi Thuy and Nguyen Thi Hai Yen hit braces against Singapore at the Viet Tri Stadium.
Ngoc Minh Chuyen gave Vietnam the lead in the fourth minute with Ta Thi Thuy scoring two quickfire goals inside the 15th-minute mark before an own goal by Siti Nurerwadah Erwan 13 minutes later put the home side 4-0 up going into the break.
Any hope of a Singapore fightback was extinguished with Nguyen Thi Hai Yen scoring two minutes after the restart while goals from Tran Nhat Lan and Ngoc Minh Chuyen in a space of a minute put Vietnam 7-0 up.
There was no respite for Singapore as they fell further behind with Nguyen Thi Hai Yen scoring her second in the 64th minute, with Ngoc Minh Chuyen (69th), Luu Hoang Van (87th) and Ngoc Minh Chuyen also getting into the act in the 90th minute.
Indonesia 0-6 India
Neha and Sumati Kuamri each scored a brace to steer India to a 6-0 win against Indonesia.
Neha scored  in the fourth and 22nd minutes before Kajol Hubert added another to give India a 3-0 lead going into the break.
Apurna Narzary netted  the fourth in the 56th minute before Sumati Kumari scored  in the 74th and added time to complete the win.
