Vietnamese champions Dong Tam Long An will play two games at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League after two clubs from Thailand and Indonesia expelled from the tournament.

Ho Chi Minh City Sports newspaper reported that Persipura Jayapura from Indonesia and Prov. Electrical Authority from Thailand had been expelled from the tournament because they failed to register players before deadline. Therefore, Dong Tam Long An will play two games against Shenhua Shanghai on March 8 (away) and March 22 (home).

In the mean time, Da Nang face tough draw when they have to compete against strong teams Dalian from China, Gamba Osaka from Japan and Chonbuk Motors from the Republic of Korea.
