The shape of battles in the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship will become clear on February 27 when the draw for the finals takes place here at AFC House.

 

Eight teams are to be drawn into two groups of four each for the main tournament.

 

While the top three seeds DPR Korea, Japan and China progressed automatically to the finals, KoreaRepublic, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam and Chinese Taipei have advanced through the qualifiers.

 

DPR Korea are the defending champions and they won the title in 2007 after defeating Japanin the final.
