U23 Vietnam arrived Tashkent, ready for a new journey
Completed the training period in UAE, at the noon on May 29, U23 Vietnam travelled to Uzbekistan to join in the U23 Asian Cup 2022.

The actual flight time from Dubai to Tashkent takes only about 3 hours. However, because the flight was delayed by 1 hour compared to the plan, plus more than 1 hour for visa procedures at the airport, it was not until 8 pm on the same day that coach Gong Oh-kyun’s teams settled down at Wyndham Tashkent hotel, located about 20 minutes by bus from the airport. This is one of the 5-star standard hotels arranged by AFC for the teams participating in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2022. Together at the Wyndham Tashkent hotel with the U23 Vietnam team is the U23 Malaysia team – an opponent in Group C of head coach Gong Oh-kyun’s team.
After dinner, head coach Gong Oh-kyun reminded the players to rest early to recover. Tomorrow afternoon (May 30), U23 Vietnam will enter the first training session at Tashkent. The team will have 3 days to prepare for the opening match against Thailand U23 at the 2022 AFC U23 Asian Cup.
