As soon as he approached the penalty area, the striker launched a shot that sank to the left of the opponent’s left post. U23 Vietnam also has another remarkable situation. By the 58th minute, the balance was broken. Jasurbek, captain of U23Uzbekistan, takes a free kick from more than 20 meters. The ball crosses the fence and finds the left corner of the goal. Facing this situation, coach Lee Young Jin decided to change many personnel on the offensive. U23 Vietnam had many opportunities at the end of the match but could not concretize them into goals. Losing the final 0-1, U23 Vietnam closed the U23 Dubai Cup with 8th place.
The team led by coach Lee Young Jin has learned many lessons after facing top-class U23 teams such as Iraq, Croatia and Uzbekistan. The problem is, the attack of U23 Vietnam, despite creating opportunities, cannot be converted into a goal. That will be problem that Coach Park Hang Seo and assistant Lee Young Jin must take into account, especially when the 2021 SEA Games are very close.
