The Japan Football Association (JFA) has decided to post Philippe Troussier at the 17th Japan Football Hall of Fame. It was resolved and announced at the JFA Board of Directors on September 10.

On the afternoon of 10th Sep, the AFC Executive Committee had an online meeting to evaluate and discuss the main decisions to organize tournaments in the later period of 2020. VFF Permanent Vice President Trần Quốc Tuấn joined the meeting as a member of the AFC Executive Committee, Director of the Competition Department.

On the afternoon of 9th Sep, before doing the key contents of the announcement ceremony for new technical director Yusuke Adachi, leaders of VFF, delegators, press spent an introspective moment of silence for Former Head coach of the Vietnam National Team – Mr. Alfred Riedl.

On the morning of 8th Sep (local’s time), Austria’ media stated that Coach Alfred Riedl passed away because of cancer at his home town. The former head coach of the Vietnam National Team was born in 2nd Nov 1949, and passed away at 71 years old.

On 3rd Sep, Mr. Yusuke Adachi officially started working at Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) as a technical director. After the first day, he spent the time to talk about his plans to build up the development of Vietnamese Football, especially training youth football.

On the afternoon of 6th Sep, the opening ceremony of the training program to learn from experiences in the mid-season on the working of assistants and referees work of the Professional National Football Championship 2020 was held at VFF’s office.

To prepare for the training program to learn from the experience at the mid-season of the professional national football championship period 1st which was held from 6th Sep to 9th Sep, on the afternoon of 5th Sep, the assistants and referees who join in the program did the medical test.
