Vietnam Women team ready for the kick-off match with Maldives (8 p.m Sep 23)
At 8 p.m (GMT+7) Sep 23, Vietnam Women Team will have the kick-off match with Maldives in Group B Women’s Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier.

Before kick-off time, head coach Mai Duc Chung and coaching assistants had a meeting with the team in Taj Palace Hotel. On behalf of the coaching assistants, team leader Truong Hai Tung remained the players continually pay attention to the health care, to avoid the risks and ensure the safety of the whole team. He also hoped that the members will raise their responsibility forward to the best result.
On the professional side, head coach Mai Duc Chung assigned the tasks to each player. “We had time for preparation and friendly matches. All preparation tasks were complete. We hope that all players will follow well the tactics and plans; the substitutes are always ready in any situation. Our team will unity forward to get the 3 points”. Head coach Mai Duc Chung said.
Before finished the meeting, the coaching assistants maintained the notes about organisation and competition in COVID-19 pandemic circumstances included social distancing, reduce physical contact, etc.
Head coach Mai Duc Chung gave the captain armband to Huynh Nhu.
At 4:05 p.m the team will go to the stadium.
