Vietnamese Ambassador at Korea visits U23 Vietnam
In the afternoon 19th Dec, Mr. Nguyen Vu Tu – Vietnamese Ambassador at Korea and the Embassy’s officers came to Tongyeong to visit and encourage U23 Vietnam.

At the cozy meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tu congratulated head coach Park Hang-seo and the players for the outstanding achievements at the recent tournament, in which the latest was the championship of SEA Games 30. Ambassador believes the team will continue to show the Vietnam’s competitive spirit thereby achieve the goal at U23 AFC Championship 2020 in Thailand.
Quang Hai and Tien Linh presented souvenir shirts with the signatures of the whole team to the Vietnam Embassy in Korea.
Before that, U23 Vietnam had the light exercise to help the players relax and recover the physical strength after the match with Yeungnam University’s Football team. On the same day afternoon, head coach Park Hang-seo and the players visited his mother. Due to the working time, he cannot usually meet his mother so the moments when they met together were very valuable. On behalf of the team, captain Nguyen Quang Hai presented the gift and wish she all the best.
About the health of the players, Dr. Tran Anh Tuan said that the players who have the injuries are recovery very well. Quang Hai, Trong Hung may come back to practice with the team in 2 or 3 days later while Dinh Trong and Thanh Thinh can come back to join the U23 AFC Championship 2020.
According to the evaluation of Dr. Tran Anh Tuan, the physical strength of the players have a sharp improvement after the training program in Korea because of the suitable diet. Besides that, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) also provides functional foods to help the players recover as well as improver the physical foundation.
