Vietnam Petro Gas V-League, round 24: Song Lam Nghe An beat Da Nang 2-0, Thanh Hoa relegat

Song Lam Nghe An defeated Da Nang (who already won the season title) 2-0 in the 24th round at Vinh stadium, moving from third place into second in the table while Thanh Hoa lost 2-0 to guests Binh Duong and was relegated from the V-League.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai trounced Nam Dinh 2-0 to rank seventh with 34 points, avoiding the relegation and T & T Hanoi dropped into third place after losing to Khanh Hoa 3-2.

Ho Chi Minh City club came from behind to beat Dong Thap 3-2, earning three very important points to move out of the relegation zone, having 29 points, ranking 11th.

Meanwhile, The Cong drew with Military Zone IV 2-2 and match between Hai phong and Dong Tam Long An ended in a 1-1 draw.

As a result, Song Lam Nghe An with 39 points, T & T (37 points), Binh Duong (37 points) and Hai Phong (35 points) will compete for second and third places.

Military Zone IV (27 points, 13th place) and Nam Dinh, (28 points, 12th place) are in the  relegation zone.

According to the tournament regulations, the two bottom-placed teams will be relegated from the V-League while the third-last team will play off with the third-placed team in the First Division for a place in the V-League.
