Striker Hai Anh scored the only goal of the match to secure Vietnam a 1-0 victory against Taiwan who is considered as a stronger opponent in the opening match of this year”s Championships yesterday in HCM City.

Striker Hai Anh scored the only goal of the match to secure Vietnam a 1-0 victory against Taiwan who is considered as a stronger opponent in the opening match of this year”s Championships yesterday in HCM City.

The hosts pressured Taiwan girls and created dozens of goal chances and the only goal was converted by the counter attack of striker Hai Anh. Meanwhile, Taiwan was not having a full strength due to a slight rain before the kick-off. SOur main purpost to participate this tournament is to gain expericne and sharpen our skills in preparation for the Asian Championships⬝ said Taiwan head coach Chou Tai Ying after the match. However, this victory really was a very important start for Vietnam to win the championship title at home field.

At for the match between Thailand and Myanmar, the girls from the Golden church country have proven their strength with a win 3-2 against Myanmar.
 
Thailand” next match will be against Vietnam with the same three point.  The winner of this match will have opportunity to become the champions.
