VFF First Instant Body met and decided to license the clubs to participate in the AFC club-level tournaments for the 2024/25 season
On the afternoon of May 14, the VFF First Instant Body met and decided to license the clubs to participate in the AFC club-level tournaments for the 2024/25 season.

Representatives of VFF leaders attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Vice President. The VFF First Instant Body includes Associate Prof.Dr. Pham Ngoc Vien – Chairman, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung – Deputy Chairperson, Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang – Member, Mr. Luu Danh Minh – Member. The Appeal Body includes Mr. Nguyen Hai Huong – Deputy Chairman, and Mr. Nguyen Van Cong – Member. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the VFF Board of General Secretariat and the VFF Club Licensing Administration.
Continuing the content at the previous meeting, at this meeting, members continued to work with the focus on deciding to license clubs to participate in the AFC club-level tournaments in the 2024/25 season. Accordingly, the First Instant Body unanimously decided:
1. Licensed with conditions for 02 Football Clubs to participate in the AFC Club level tournament in the 2024/25 season including Hanoi Police Football Club; and Hanoi Football Club.
2. Licensing with punishment for 02 clubs participating in the 2024/25 AFC club tournament including Song Lam Nghe An Football Club; and Becamex Binh Duong Football Club.
3. Licensing with conditional punishment for 05 clubs participating in the 2024/25 AFC club tournament including Nam Dinh Football Club; Dong-A Thanh Hoa Football Club; Hong Linh Ha Tinh Football Club; Quang Nam Football Club, PVF-CAND Football Club.
4. Do not grant permission to 08 clubs to participate in the AFC 2024/25 club-level tournament because they do not meet the A-class criteria, including Viettel Sports Football Club; Hai Phong Football Club; Ho Chi Minh City Football Club; LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club; Merryland Football Club Quy Nhon Binh Dinh; Khanh Hoa Football Club; SHB Da Nang Football Club; Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club.
After discussing and reaching a consensus, the First Instant Body and the VFF Club Licensing Administration proceeded to license the club to participate in the AFC club-level tournament for the 2024/25 season on the online licensing system CLAS. In case the club is licensed with penalties or is not licensed, the complaint procedures can only be carried out on the online licensing system, deadline is May 21, 2024. May 31, 2024, is the deadline for VFF to report to AFC the list of licensing decisions for clubs to participate in the 2024/25 AFC club tournament.
As per the plan, on June 14, 2024, the First Instant Body will decide to license the club to participate in the National Championship for the 2024/25 season.
