The U16 Vietnam gathered to prepare for the AFF competition with 30 players summoned
As part of the preparation plan to participate in the AFF U16 Championship 2024 and towards the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers, the U16 Vietnam under the guidance of head coach Tran Minh Chien will begin gathering and training at Vietnam Youth Football Training Center from May 23 with 30 players.

The force participating in this gathering of U16 Vietnam is mostly the players who participated in the gathering of the U17 Vietnam last April. Head coach Tran Minh Chien said that the team will continue to practice at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center until the day they go to Indonesia to attend the AFF U16 Championship 2024, taking place from June 21 to July 4 at Surakarta. In the first phase of training, the team will have 3 practice matches.
According to the announcement from AFF, the drawing ceremony to divide the group and schedule the 2024 U16 AFF Championship will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 30.
