Announcement of Sponsorship and Draw for the Match Schedule of the 2026 National U19 Women’s Championship – ACECOOK Cup
On the afternoon of December 23, the Ceremony to Announce the Main Sponsor and Conduct the Draw for the Match Schedule of the 2026 National U19 Women’s Football Championship – ACECOOK Cup took place at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phú – General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF); Mr. Nguyễn Minh Châu – Deputy General Secretary of the VFF; Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Hà – Deputy General Secretary of the VFF and Head of the Organising Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Đức Mẫn – Head of the Marketing Department of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, along with representatives of VFF functional departments and VFF-affiliated units.
The year 2026 marks the third consecutive year that the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), in cooperation with Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, has organised the National U19 Women’s Football Championship. VFF is delighted that Acecook Vietnam—an organisation that has shown long-standing and steadfast support for Vietnamese football in general and the national teams in particular—continues its commitment as the Main Sponsor of the tournament.
This continued partnership with Acecook Vietnam also reflects its sense of social responsibility and long-term dedication to the development of Vietnamese women’s football, especially youth training, which is a key factor in ensuring the sustainable growth of the sport.
Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phú, General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), emphasised:
“In recent years, Vietnamese women’s football has achieved many remarkable successes at both regional and continental levels. In 2025 alone, all three Vietnamese women’s teams—U17, U20 and the national team—secured qualification for the final tournaments of the 2026 AFC competitions.
These positive results highlight the important role of the women’s football competition system organised by the VFF, including the National U19 Championship. Over 18 years of organisation, with its predecessor being the National U18 Women’s Championship, the tournament has not only provided a valuable professional playing platform but also served as a comprehensive development environment for young female players in terms of match skills, mental strength, discipline, team spirit and the aspiration to contribute. Through the competition, many promising talents have been identified, nurtured and gradually developed, making contributions to clubs and national teams.
The VFF has consistently regarded the improvement of the quality of youth competitions, especially women’s football, as a key priority. With thorough preparation and the continued support of the Main Sponsor—Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company—the VFF is confident that the 2026 National U19 Women’s Football Championship – ACECOOK Cup will once again deliver exciting and highly competitive matches, contributing to the enhancement of professional standards and the promotion of a positive image of Vietnamese women’s football.”
Mr. Nguyễn Đức Mẫn, Head of the Marketing Department of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, expressed his confidence:
“Through our partnership and sports sponsorship activities, Acecook Vietnam hopes to help inspire Vietnamese football, especially women’s football—where perseverance, the will to rise, and national pride are always vividly demonstrated. We expect Vietnamese women’s football to continue maintaining its strong momentum of development, constantly asserting its position on the regional and international stages, becoming a positive source of motivation for the younger generation, and carrying forward solid progress for the future of the nation’s football.”
The tournament will take place from January 7 to February 7, 2026, featuring a double round-robin format (home and away), and will be held in Hanoi and Ninh Binh. The competition brings together five teams: Hanoi, Phong Phú Hà Nam, Than KSVN, Thai Nguyen T&T, and Ho Chi Minh City.
