The International Football Federation (FIFA) has planned to increase investment in women’s football of Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar in the future.

An official from the Asian Football Federation (AFF) revealed this at a FIFA- sponsored seminar recently held in Manila, the Philippines, on development of women’s football in Southeast Asia.

The plan was put forward to help women’s football in the three countries develop further and reach the regional level, said the official.

FIFA will sent its missions to these countries to review their women’s football situation in order to map out proper supporting measures, she said.
