The Vietnam Football Federation and Phú Thọ evaluate the organization of the AMEC 2024 football tournament
On the afternoon of January 15, Comrade Bùi Văn Quang – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Phú Thọ Provincial People’s Committee, held a meeting with the President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Trần Quốc Tuấn, to evaluate the results of organizing the 2024 ASEAN Football Championship, which took place at the Việt Trì Stadium in Phú Thọ province, and to discuss the planned cooperation program for 2025.
VFF and Acecook Vietnam are aiming for a long-term partnership
This morning (November 13), VFF President Trần Quốc Tuấn and VFF Vice President Nguyễn Trung Kiên visited and worked at the Acecook Vietnam office. They were welcomed by Mr. Kaneda Hiroki, CEO of Acecook Vietnam, along with representatives from various departments of the company.
FFAV and PVF honored AFC 2024 Special Awards
At the AFC 2024 Special Awards ceremony, held alongside the AFC Women’s Football Conference 2024 on November 12, Vietnamese football received a Special Award in the category of Best Grassroots Project for the “Football For All in Vietnam” (FFAV) project. The Best Grassroots Leader Award went to Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương, Director of the FFAV project, and the Youth Academy of the Year (Boys) Award was presented to the PVF Football Training Center.
AFC-UEFA women’s football programme in Vietnam
Mr. Chris Milnes, UEFA International Relations Project Specialist, highlighted the huge potential of women’s football in Vietnam during a recent strategy development workshop in Hanoi as part of the AFC-UEFA women’s football programme. He praised the commitment of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and highlighted how the programme will act as a catalyst for the development of girls and women’s football and the long-term success of the “Vietnam Golden Star Women Warriors.”
