On October 7, 2025, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) officially announced the appointment of Mr. Trần Quốc Tuấn – Executive Committee Member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) – as a member of FIFA’s Men’s National Team Competitions Committee for the 2025–2029 term
Prime Minister visits top Brazilian football club, promotes cooperation with Vietnam
From July 4 to 8, 2025, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, accompanied by his spouse and a Vietnamese delegation, visited Rio de Janeiro to attend the 2025 BRICS+ Summit and conduct bilateral activities in the Federative Republic of Brazil, at the invitation of Brazilian President Lula da Silva. Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) President Trần Quốc Tuấn joined the working delegation and participated in several activities alongside the Prime Minister during the visit to Brazil.

At 9:00 AM local time on June 23 (8:00 PM Vietnam time), the FIFA Executive Football Summit officially kicked off in Miami, USA, with the participation of senior leaders from FIFA member associations around the world. VAR Referee Class (4th Edition) Enters Critical Training Stage
On the morning of May 26, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, 19 referees and assistant referees officially entered the third phase of their training, taking place from May 26 to May 31. This stage involves on-field practice during unofficial matches as part of the fourth VAR Referee Training Course.

The match will take place on May 28, 2025, at Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
