Brunei Darussalam withdraw from upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 qualifier

The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) has informed the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) today that they will be withdrawing from the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 Qualification Round match due to complications caused by the pandemic on the team’s preparations.

FUJI Electric joins AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 as official supporter

SINGAPORE, 21st December 2020 – Japanese electrical equipment company Fuji Electric has joined the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 as an Official Supporter, in the company’s first-ever partnership with South East Asia’s most prestigious football tournament. The deal was brokered by SPORTFIVE, the exclusive commercial partner of the AFF Suzuki Cup.

AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 rescheduled for December 2021

7th December 2020 – The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has today announced that its flagship tournament, the AFF Suzuki Cup – which was originally scheduled for November 2020, will now take place in December 2021. This decision reflects the continued priority of AFF which is the health and safety of everyone, and has also been made to provide greater certainty to all of the event’s stakeholders, including the AFF Member Associations, teams, players and officials, commercial partners and fans.
