Opening of the first leg of the Women’s National Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2024
On the afternoon of May 1, the first leg of the Women’s National Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2024 officially opened at Ba Ria Stadium (Ba Ria city, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province).
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Tran Anh Tu – VFF’s Vice President; Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF’s General Secretary; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF’s Deputy General Secretary, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Tran Anh Minh – General Director of Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Company Limited, main sponsor of the tournament and representatives of Dong Luc Joint Stock Company – Official Ball Sponsor of the tournament.
On behalf of the main sponsor of the tournament, Mr. Tran Anh Minh – General Director of Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Company Limited said: “In recent years, Vietnamese women’s football has reaped great achievements while winning the SEA Games for the 8th time and participated in the Women’s Football World Cup in New Zealand for the first time in 2023. In the opening statement of the tournament, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF’s Deputy General Secretary thanked the 13th consecutive year of companionship of Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Company Limited as the main sponsor. “The companionship of Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Co., Ltd. and sponsors is a very valuable and appreciated source of encouragement, contributing to the success of women’s football in particular and Vietnamese football in general. After the opening ceremony, there is a match between the two teams Son La and Ho Chi Minh City I. The first leg of the Women’s National Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2024 takes place from May 1 to June 1 at the fields: Ba Ria, Long Tam and Tan Hung (Ba Ria city, Ba Ria Vung Tau province).
