After a week-long training trip in Dubai (UAE), U20 Vietnam moved to Fergana with a flight starting at 13:05 (local time) on the afternoon of February 26. The team’s luggage was a lot, but with the enthusiastic help of the airline staff, U20 Vietnam was allowed to open the door as its own luggage, so everything happened quite quickly. Exit procedures at the UAE airport are done electronically, so everything is done quickly, without waste of time. The flight took off on time, so the members of U20 Vietnam felt comfortable.
After a flight of about 4 hours, with a meal served on the plane, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan’s team also landed at Fergana airport at 18:00 (local time), ie around 20:00, Vietnam time on the evening of February 26. Immigration procedures to Uzbekistan are also quite quick while also not having to wait for luggage for too long when the whole time to enter and pick up luggage only takes about 40 minutes, so U20 Vietnam quickly returned to the hotel. The distance from the airport to Asia Fergana Hotel is only 10 minutes. Immediately after arriving at the hotel, U20 Vietnam was served dinner by the Organizing Committee, after that, checked in and rested at the hotel.
Experiencing a journey of about 9 hours from leaving Ramada Hotel (Dubai, UAE) until checking in at Asian Fergana Hotel (Fergana, Uzbekistan) but because everything went smoothly, the members of U20 Vietnam do not feel too tired. The problem is that the temperature in Fergana at this time is very low when at 20:00 on the evening of February 26, down to 5 degrees Celsius. However, the hotel’s bedroom has a heating system, so you do not have to worry about being in the room. However, the players are advised by the coaching staff to keep warm with wool hats, warm coats, socks… whenever they go outside the room to keep warm to ensure the best health when entering the 2023 U20 Asian Cup.
According to the plan, U20 Vietnam will be arranged to take pictures by the organizers to do the necessary procedures on the morning of February 27. In the afternoon, the team of coach Hoang Anh Tuan will go to the field to practice for the first time in Uzbekistan. According to the schedule, U20 Vietnam is scheduled to have two training sessions before entering the first match against U20 Australia on March 1.
