Tomorrow afternoon kick-off the first leg of the National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2023
The first leg of the National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2023 will kick off tomorrow afternoon (November 16) at the field of Vietnam Youth Football Training Center and PVF Center. To prepare for the tournament, the organizing committee conducted a match coordination meeting on the morning of November 15, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation, under the direction of Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation, Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee.

Also attending the meeting were: Ms. Ngo Thi Phuong Thao – Director of VFF’s Competition Organization Department, Deputy Chairperson of the Tournament Organizing Committee; the members of the Organizing Committee; match commissioners, referee assessors and representatives of 8 teams participating in this year’s tournament.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the tournament welcomed the teams, referees and officers on duty who were present at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center to prepare for the new season. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha said that VFF recognized the efforts of the teams in preparing and participating in the tournament. Specially welcome the return of Son La Women’s Club. The 2023 National Women’s Football Championship is very special as it turns 25, increasingly affirming an important position in the national professional tournament system organized by VFF. VFf always appreciates the contributions of women’s football teams in the general development of Vietnamese women’s football in particular and Vietnamese football in general. “From 2023, the official prize will be increased, in addition to support from VFF. The tournament organizers hope that the teams will compete actively, respecting the regulations, spectators and FIFA competition rules. Wishing the teams a successful season; Wishing the commissioner force, referee and tournament organizers to complete their tasks” – Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha said.
At the meeting, the representative of the organizing committee announced a number of key issues such as: organization, security and safety, health, sponsorship, communication…, and at the same time conducted shirt color registration and inspection. Review the list and match cards.
The National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2023 will take place at 3 locations: Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, PVF Center (Hung Yen) and Thanh Tri Stadium from November 16 to December 28 . With the goal of widespread coverage and bringing the image of the National Women’s Football Championship to fans, with their efforts, VFF and partners will live stream the entire tournament on VTVcab and online on social platforms of VTVcab, replayed on VFF Channel and VFF’s social platforms. In addition, the organizers also decided not to organize ticket sales so that fans can go to the stadium to watch and cheer directly for the players.
Prize:
– Champion Team: Cup and 500 million VND;
– Runner-up team: 300 million VND;
– Third place team: 200 million VND;
– Fair-play team: 50 million VND;
– Individual awards: Best player of the tournament, Player with the most goals scored in the tournament, best goalkeeper of the tournament, Referee team that successfully completed the task: 20 million VND/prize.
