U20 Vietnam and U20 Palestine will dedicate an exciting match for the fans
On the afternoon of August 30, at the VFF’s house, a press conference to announce and exchange information for the international friendly match between U20 Vietnam and Palestine U20 was held.
The delegation, on behalf of VFF, there were Mr. Le Hoai Anh – General Secretary, leaders of functional departments and members of the match organisation committee. On behalf of the local organisation committee, there were Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Phu Tho’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy – Deputy Director of the Phu Tho’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Le Hong Khanh. – Deputy Director of Phu Tho TV. On behalf of U20 Vietnam, there was the presence of head coach Mr. Dinh The Nam and press.
On behalf of VFF, General Secretary Le Hoai Anh thanked the Phu Tho’s leaders for the attention and direction in football events organised by VFF in coordination with the local organisation committee in Phu Tho province in recent years, especially the very successful organisation of group stage and a semi-final of the 31st SEA Games men’s football at Viet Tri Stadium, thereby contributing to the promotion and spreading of the image of people and culture of Phu Tho to fans and international friends, and at the same time contributed to the success of Vietnam’s organisation in 31st SEA Games. Mr. Le Hoai Anh believes that the upcoming international friendly match between U20 Vietnam and U20 Palestine will also be successfully organised, thereby not only helping U20 Vietnam to prepare well, towards the 2023 AFC U20 Qualifiers, but also contribute to creating a lively atmosphere in a series of activities to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day.
Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy – Provincial Member, Director of the Phu Tho’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: “The preparation for the match has been actively implemented by Phu Tho to ensure the best conditions. The conditions of technical facilities serving the two teams for practice and competition are guaranteed to meet the standards of quality. In addition, the local organisation committee have also planned to ensure absolute security and safety for the event and extend the information to the fans”. Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy added that in the past time, the local organisation committee also had a direct meeting with the Palestinian Ambassador in Vietnam on welcoming and serving the away team during their stay in Phu Tho. With the experience of successfully organising large-scale cultural and sports events, Phu Tho province fully believes in meeting the requirements of expertise and infrastructure for the friendly match.
Head coach of U20 Vietnam Dinh The Nam shared: “After completing the rehearsal at the International U19 Football Tournament, U20 Vietnam was facilitated by VFF to go to Japan for training at J-Green Sakai Centre. The team has 3 matches against U20 Japan, U18 Cerezo Osaka and Osaka Sangyo University. This is a very valuable experience for the players because being able to compete against higher level opponents has helped them improve a lot in terms of expertise and international experience.”
Head oach Dinh The Nam also highly appreciated the upcoming friendly match against U20 Palestine. He said: “The U20 Palestine is an opponent from West Asia. They just competed in the U20 Arab Cup in July and reached the semi-finals. The U20 Palestinian players have good physique, physical strength, and expertise. This is definitely a rewarding game. I will use the best formation to prepare, before travelling to Indonesia for the 2023 U20 Asian Cup Qualifier on September 12. Besides professional purposes, I also hope both teams will offer an interesting match for the fans.”
In order to serve the demand of fans, VFF in collaboration with the local organisation committee has implemented a plan to issue tickets, starting at 9:00 am on September 1 at the ticket counter of the Phu Tho Satdium. Accordingly, tickets have 03 prices including: 100,000 VND / ticket, 150,000 VND / ticket and 200,000 VND / ticket. Ticket sales may end early depending on when tickets are sold out. In addition, to ensure security and safety for ticket issuance, based on actual conditions, the match organisation committee may make adjustments to the plan and method of ticket issuance.
