VFF’s leaders visit and encourage injured U20 women’s national team player
On the afternoon of March 19, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu visited and encouraged Ha Phuong Nga of the Vietnam U20 women’s national team, who is undergoing treatment for an injury during the training camp in preparation for the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026.
Earlier, on March 14, Ha Phuong Nga unfortunately sustained an injury during a friendly match against Guangxi Pingguo Beinong Women as part of the team’s training camp in China in preparation for the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 finals.
Immediately after returning to Vietnam on March 15, she underwent medical examination and treatment for a fractured bone at Vinmec Smart City Hospital. At present, Ha Phuong Nga is recovering in accordance with the doctors’ instructions.
According to the initial assessment by the medical team, her injury will require approximately three months for a full recovery.
During the visit, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu offered words of encouragement and support to the young player, expressing his hope that she will maintain a positive mindset, follow the prescribed treatment plan, and make a swift return to the pitch.
