Kick-off the Women’s U19 National Championship 2021

On the afternoon of Mar 16, at Thanh Trì Stadium, the opening ceremony and first matches of Women’s U19 National Championship 2021 has kick-offed.

The delegation included Mr. Cao Van Chong – VFF Vice President; Mr. Pham Thanh Hung – Member of VFF Executive Committee, Director of Women Football Committee; Mr. Duong Van Hien – Member of VFF Executive Committee, Director of Referee Department; Mr. Le Hoai Anh – General Secretary; Mr. Do Van Nhat – Deputy Director of Women Football Committee; and Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary, Head of the Organization Committee. The ceremony also had the attending of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Hoa – Director of Thanh Tri’s Culture and Sports Centre; Mr. Mai Duc Chung – Head coach women national team; Mr. Akira Ijiri – head coach of girl teams; Mr. Do Van Kien – Hung Thinh Group; Mr. Mai The Hung – Dong Luc Co.

Speak at the ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha said that: “This is the 4th year of the tournament. This year has the participation of 5 teams included U19 Hanoi Watabe, U19 Phong Phu Ha Nam, U19 Son La, U19 HCM City, and U19 Than KSVN. When the sports activities are returning after a society distance time, today, the Women’s U19 Nation Championship 2021 officially kick-off the first matches of a new season. With the preparation of the teams, we believe the tournament will have a high qualification. Especially, VFF askes all members to keep healthy and follow the guideline of MOH. On behalf of the organization committee, I want to thank the support of Thanh Tri’s Culture and Sports Centre, spectator, and press”.

After the opening ceremony, the opening match between U19 PP Ha Nam and U19 Son La kick-off. Before that, U19 HCM City drew 1-1 with U19 Hanoi Watabe in the match at 2 p.m.

The Women’s U19 National Championship 2021 takes place from Mar 16 to Apr 08, in which the first leg from Mar 16 to Mar 26, the second leg from Mar 29 to Apr 08. VFF and Nex Media will live stream 4 days included Mar 16, Apr 2, Apr 5, and Apr 8 on VFF Channel (Youtube).
