The 2025 National U19 Women’s Football Championship – Acecook Cup officially concluded on March 11, with a thrilling final round of matches between Thai Nguyen T&T and Phong Phu Ha Nam, as well as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. With a 0-0 draw against Thai Nguyen T&T, the host team Phong Phu Ha Nam excellently extended their lead over the second-place team, Thai Nguyen T&T, and clinched the championship, marking a successful season not only in terms of expertise but also in its growing appeal.

One of the most notable highlights of this year’s tournament was the special attention from the audience. The final round attracted the highest attendance of the season, with the special presence of Coach Mai Đức Chung, football legend Dương Hồng Sơn, and many famous sports content creators. The lively atmosphere in the stands proved the positive shift in public reception of young women’s football. This has become an important motivation for the young players to be more confident and give their best on the field.
According to Coach Mai Đức Chung, Vietnam’s young women’s football is showing many signs of positive development. He emphasized, “We can clearly see improvements in the players’ physical fitness, technical skills, and tactical thinking. Some teams have built scientific playing styles with clear strategies, making the tournament even more exciting. With the continued support from sponsors, we have reason to believe in the future growth of the tournament in terms of scale, expertise, and public and media reception.”
