In recent days, people in the central region and several other provinces and cities have been struggling to cope with severe storms and flooding, which have caused significant loss of life and property. Upholding the spirit of solidarity and compassion, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) — with the support of its Executive Committee and all staff members — voluntarily contributed one day’s salary from October 2025 to support people in the central region and other areas heavily affected by the natural disasters.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), shared: “Witnessing the losses and hardships that people in the central region and several provinces and cities are suffering due to natural disasters, the VFF wishes to join hands in sharing a part of their difficulties. Although this contribution may not be large in material value, it carries the heartfelt sincerity and compassion of the VFF leadership, Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and staff — all of whom always stand with our compatriots in times of hardship. It reflects the spirit of solidarity and mutual support — ‘the good leaves protect the torn ones’ — that characterizes Vietnamese football. Through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, a trusted institution of the people, we believe that this support will reach the right places and those most in need, helping to spread the spirit of unity and compassion within the community.”

On behalf of the Central Relief Committee, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Social Affairs Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam Football Federation, as well as to coaches and players, for their continued engagement in meaningful charitable and community activities. He emphasized that these contributions reflect the sense of responsibility, compassion, and solidarity that Vietnamese football shares with the wider community.

This meaningful gesture once again reflects the solidarity, compassion, and social responsibility of the Vietnam Football Federation — an organization that not only strives for the development of Vietnamese football but also stands side by side with the community, sharing and supporting those in need during the most challenging times.
