The Vietnam women’s national team won 3–0 in their first friendly match in Japan

On the afternoon of 24 November, during their training camp in preparation for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam women’s national team played their first friendly match against the Aichi Toho University women’s team (Japan).

A proactive approach allowed coach Mai Đức Chung’s players to create several early chances. In the second half, personnel adjustments began to take effect. In the 53rd minute, Bích Thùy opened the scoring with a decisive finish. Just three minutes later, she doubled the lead, making it 2–0 for Vietnam.

In the 69th minute, Thái Thị Thảo sealed a 3–0 victory with a neat strike inside the box, just two minutes after coming on.

During the match, the team also made several substitutions to experiment with the lineup. After 90 minutes, the Vietnam women’s national team secured a 3–0 victory, marking a positive start to their training camp in Japan ahead of their preparations for the 33rd SEA Games.
