U19 Vietnam focus on the plan of 2020
Head coach Philippe Troussier expects that he and VFF can create a generation of quality young players, forward to the great goals of the region and whole the world.
The meeting about the action plan of U19 Vietnam in 2020 was held on the morning of 10th Jan at VFF. The meeting has the attending of Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary, Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Nguyen Sy Hien – President of National Coaching Committee, Mr. Juergen Gede – Technical Director of VFF, Mr. Philippe Troussier – Head coach of U19 Vietnam.
At the meeting, head coach Philippe Troussier emphasized that his plans with U19 Vietnam are not only for the tournaments in 2020, but also forward to the long-term development of Vietnamese Football. Head coach of U19 Vietnam expected that he and VFF can create a generation of quality young players, forward to the great goals of the region and whole the world.
Mr. Nguyen Sy Hien – President of National Coaching Committee argued that “VFF needs to careful when making the plans to ensure the highest benefit of the players and clubs. However, we also need to focus on the preparation for the main tournaments”.
At this meeting, the issues related to the training and completion plans of u19 Vietnam were discussed. Thereby, the V.League 3 will have a time adjustment to allow the U19 players to play for the clubs, the date of training campaign also change to fit with the plan of head coach. These changes are made to ensure the best preparation for the U19 AFF Championship on Aug 2020 and the U19 AFC Championship on Oct 2020.
Head coach Philippe Troussier also shares that he wants to cooperate with the head coach of U19 clubs to find out the most suitable players for U19 Vietnam.
