Women U19 National Championship 2021: Goal and ambition
The Women U19 National Championship 2021 kick-off on Mar 16 at Thanh Tri Stadium (Hanoi). This year, not only defending champion Hanoi aims to defend the title, but also other teams have their ambition.
U19 Than KSVN, U19 Hanoi Watabe, U19 HCM City, U19 PP Ha Nam, and U19 Son La will battle in this tournament. This is an important tournament to find out young potential players for national teams.
U19 Than KSVN and U19 Hanoi Watabe are the outstanding teams this year. U19 KSVN has many young players who played very well at Women National Championship Thai Son Bac 2020. The ambition of the team absolutely is the champion. However, to do it U19 Than KSVN will need to get over a big challenge – U19 Hanoi Watabe.
The capital team is the defending champion as well as having 7 times won the title of this tournament. However, now, U19 Hanoi Watabe is adjusting its force.
Head coach of U19 Hanoi Watabe Dang Quoc Tuan said that they also had the pressure but this is a youth tournament so the most important goal is to improve players for the future.
Meanwhile, U19 HCM City and U19 PP Ha Nam also have their potential. They may create a surprise this year. U19 Son La is a very young team and all trained local.
Women U19 National Championship 2021 will play 2 rounds at Thanh Tri Stadium. The first leg will kick-off from Mar 16 to Mar 26. The second leg will play from Mar 29 to Apr 08. VFF and Nex Media will live stream 4 days included Mar 16, Apr 2, Apr 5, and Apr 8 on VFF Channel (Youtube).
The technical meeting takes place on Mar 15 and the opening ceremony will kick-off on Mar 16 between U19 PP Ha Nam and U19 Son La.
