55 referees are ready to be on duty at the 2024 HDBank national futsal tournaments
On the morning of February 18, the Organizing Committee of the match commissioners and referee training course for the 2024 national futsal tournament conducted a fitness test for 56 referees on the list summoned to duty. As a result, there was only one referee who did not complete the tests.

Thus, the total number of referees meeting the requirements to participate in officiating matches at the 2024 futsal HDBank National Championship and the 2024 futsal HDBank National Cup is 55 referees. These referees will continue to participate in the training course that will last until February 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, with thematic content on updating competition laws and learning from refereeing experience in the previous season. The opening ceremony of the training course was held at Thong Nhat Sports Center (HCMC) with the participation of Chairman of Arbitration Committee Dang Thanh Ha, members of the training organizing committee, and futsal referee instructors, along with referee assessors and referees on the list expected to be assigned to duty in the 2024 national futsal season.
According to the plan, the 2024 Futsal HDBank National Championship will take place from February 22 to July 31 with 8 participating teams, playing 56 matches in a double round-robin format, first leg and second leg (home – away) to Calculate the final ranking score.
The first 3 rounds of the tournament will take place from February 22 to March 7, then the tournament will take a break for the Vietnam Futsal team to gather, train and attend the 2024 Futsal Asian Cup in Thailand, with the goal is to win tickets to the 2024 Futsal World Cup. The tournament will return with matches in round 4, on June 1. The second leg of the tournament will last from June 25 to July 31. There are currently 8 teams confirmed to participate in this year’s season, including: Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Son Bac, Sahako FC, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa, Hanoi, Tan Hiep Hung Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Titans Ho Chi Minh City and Luxury Ha Long.
After the 2024 Futsal HDBank National Championship, the 2024 Futsal HDBank National Cup will be held in a concentrated format at one venue, expected to take place in December 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City with 8-10 participating team.
Currently in Vietnam there are 3 FIFA-class futsal referees, including: Truong Quoc Dung (since 2010), Thi Ly Hoang Ha (since 2017) and Huynh Nguyen Thanh (since 2018).
